In partnership with MTM and the City of Melbourne, Local Transit will provide transport for eligible participants to the annual Try Before You Ride event at Southern Cross Station on 16 October 2025.
This is the first year that such transport will be provided and it is offered on a trial basis.
Participants eligible for transport are those who lack confidence using, or who do not know how to use, public transport; who live within an approximate 5km radius of the Melbourne CBD; and who have a disability, limited mobility or linguo-cultural barriers.
